How It Works
Getting the right Medicare plan is a lot simpler than you think. Here's exactly what to expect when you work with me.
Quick answer
Working with an independent Medicare broker is free and takes four simple steps: (1) a no-pressure conversation about your health, doctors, prescriptions, and budget; (2) I compare plans from the carriers I represent; (3) we review your options together in plain English; and (4) I handle the enrollment paperwork and stay available all year. There's never a cost to you — independent brokers are paid by the insurance carriers, not by you.
4 Simple Steps to the Right Medicare Plan
No jargon, no pressure, no endless paperwork. Just a straightforward process that ends with you having the right coverage.
Free Initial Consultation
We start with a simple conversation — by phone, video call, or in person wherever you are. This first call is yours to ask anything you want. There's no sales pitch, no obligation, and no cost to you — brokers are paid by the insurance carriers. I want to understand where you're starting from and what questions you have. Whether you're brand new to Medicare or already enrolled and wondering if there's a better option, we'll figure it out together.
Needs Assessment
Before I recommend anything, I listen. I'll ask about your current doctors and hospitals, your prescription medications, how often you typically use healthcare, and what your budget looks like. I also want to know what matters most to you — flexibility, low cost, extra benefits, or peace of mind. The right Medicare plan is different for every person, and this step is how we figure out what that means for you.
Plan Comparison & Recommendation
Once I understand your situation, I do the legwork. I compare options from the carriers I represent — Medicare Advantage, Medigap (Supplement), and Part D plans — and come back to you with a clear, honest recommendation. I'll walk you through exactly what each option covers, what it costs, what the trade-offs are, and why I'm recommending what I am. I'll answer every question until the decision feels clear and comfortable.
Enrollment Support
When you're ready to move forward, I handle the details. I guide you through the enrollment process step by step, make sure all deadlines are met, and confirm your new coverage is active. You won't be handed off to a 1-800 number or left to figure out paperwork alone. And after enrollment, I'm still your broker — available when your situation changes, when Annual Enrollment comes around, or whenever you have questions.
How I get paid
Insurance carriers pay brokers a commission when someone enrolls through them. Your premium is the same whether you enroll through a broker or directly with the plan. I currently represent 12 insurance companies, not every plan in your area; Medicare.gov and 1-800-MEDICARE can show you all of your options.
What You Can Count On
Responsive Communication
When you call or message, you hear back quickly. You get me directly — not a voicemail maze or a different person each time.
Plain-Language Explanations
No jargon. If I need to use a Medicare term, I'll explain it in plain English until it makes sense. You deserve to understand your own coverage.
Ongoing Support
My job doesn't end at enrollment. I'm your broker for the long term — there for annual reviews, life changes, and any questions along the way.
We Meet Your Way
Choose whatever's most comfortable for you. I'm available by phone, video, or in person across Los Angeles.
